LF Wolves

Does anyone know of any wolf figures out there? Something between 54mm and 75mm prefered. I have a friend asking about some and I have not been able to find any anywhere. Thanks in advance for any help.

Your question intrigues me, so I went to the Internet and searched for "54mm wolves".

Andrea apparently makes at least one wolf in 54mm, as a white metal kit. I found it in this catalog:

but I don't know the availability.

Others may know better suggestions. Another thing I think of, as a toy soldier painter, is that there may be figures by older makers, like Marx, that could be adapted. In 75mm, I am pretty sure that Elastolin has a wolf or wolves in its catalog, too.

Have a look on Schleich's website - they make a really nice set of animals of all different types to 1/24 scale (75mm)

There is a wolf in Andrea's 54mm model of a 'roman general'...the figure from the movie Gladiator with Russel Crowe as general on a horse (SG-F72). The wolf is running next to the horse.

And Tamiya have a 1:35 plastic german shepherd dog that may be convertible to a wolf.
