I have been asked about this set so hopefully this will clarify the questions.
It is a 120mm set consisting of two figures - a somewhat weary British soldier and an enthusiastic liberated boy waving the Union flag.
These are both ex Firing Line figures although adding the flag is new.
It gave the liberating soldiers a lift to see all their effort and sacrifices acknowledged by such displays.
The price is £50 reflecting higher resin casting costs and the fact that two figures are supplied, as is the flag and flag pole. UK postage is £3.85. International shipping at costs.
The set goes well with another of my British figures, as shown in the last photo.
A Bren gunner and number two, in a similar weary pose, are being developed - slowly it must be said! - to make a mini patrol of four British or Commonwealth soldiers. PM me here of email [email protected] with any queries.
