Hi,

Thought I might share this piece that I think is finished. I’d be grateful for any feedback. The decals on the helmet are historically incorrect and the wrong scale, but I put them on in any event.

Is there anywhere I can get decals for 1/9 - 1/12 scale?

Great to see your artwork, looks good , do like the way you've weathered the weapon and the work on pouches

Is it mounted on a rod on the base ?

As for decals , try Archer Transfers , or maybe Historex might have something, you could just leave them off or hand paint maybe

Excellent work..
I'm sure someone on here can remember the thread, but there was a guy based I believe in Russia that had made up some, decals for helmets and grenades.
I bought a set. but that was a while a go now..

Thanks you all for the encouragement. One day I might get back to my 1:35 stuff but at the moment I’m enjoying having a crack at the larger scales, most particularly busts. I’m also enjoying the challenges (albeit frustrating at times) of oils over acrylics.

Thanks Nap, I’ll have a look at FOTM, but I think it’s beyond my level and experience.

Thanks Warren. I’ll drop you a line. A mate in the Czech Rep told me about the Russian but had no contact info. I’ve searched but got nowhere. Don’t like my chances of getting much out of Russia at the moment.
