Life Miniatures King Tiger Commander, s.Pz.Abt.503, Hungary 1944

I have started cleaning up Life Miniatures Tank Commander King Tiger CDR, S Pz.Abt. 503. Great figure but the tank on the left side of the cap looks out of place to me. I have not seen this in any of my reference books. Is this artistic license by the sculptor or is this something unique for the 503rd?

Thanks. Most of the reference books I have are for overall German Army uniforms so they don't go into unit unique additions.
