Hi everybody!

Today I would like to share my latest work that I've finished few days ago.
It's amazing sculpt by Sang-Eon Lee from Life Miniatures.
I'm still looking for my own style and palette, because it's just my second bust in 1/10th scale. Before that I've painted only 28 mm miniatures. Face is the hardest part to paint in this scale but many of Your works are truly inspiring.
Today I can show You only one picture of him, because more photos and step by step through painting process will appear in the most popular modelling magazine in Poland, called "Super Model".
That's a huge award for me and pleasure to have possibility to show my work to other people.
Hope You like him and I'm waiting for Your critique and comments!

I would like to see more perspectives of your work, anyway I like your SS bust.
Just one criticism, IMHO I don't like seeing the lower eyebrow painted in figures reminds me painted eyes ladies...

The woodgrain is just VERY well done.

At this moment I can show only this one photo of him, I will upload more from different perspectives when new issue of "Super Model" will be released in October. It's publisher's restriction.
I wondered about this thin black line under eye while painting and decided not to do it next time

The woodgrain is just VERY well done.

On my first bust I've done too much contrast on the face, this time not enough contrast - maybe third face will be good I'm still working on it and looking for the best balance between highlights and shadows.
I'm glad You like his riffle.

Hello Paster,
For a second bust, that's quitre an excellent job. I mentioned the wood stock, but all others equipments are quite realistic too !
Re the face, I would tend to think it's not only a question of shadow & highlight, but also to put several colors on your palette like blue, violet, carmin yellow, etc. In my opinion it's what really brings life to the figure.
And forgot to say congrats for your publication !

Thank You. Yes, the base was made on a lathe. It looks like bullet shell, but from this perspective it isn't clearly visible.

Cześć Patryk! For your second bust this is an amazing job.
My only suggestion would be introducing a few more colour tints into the face - bit more red around the cheeks and nose, and bluish-grey for 5 o'clock shadow.
Very nice work mate, can't wait to see your third bust

I like what you have done, the uniform, wood grain and small details are outstanding, and you should be very happy. I do agree what some of the guys have said about his face, but seeing that this is only your second bust, you are well on the way to mastering the technique. Keep it up and I hope we see more of you work

To be honest, when I'm painting a face I know I sholud add some colors but I'm too careful with it. I will try to improve my technique next time!
