Hi all.

Maybe this is my fastest project so far. In a week I have painted this excellent buste.
All done with vallejo acryls and gave my own twist without following the SBS

A week ..oh how I wish ...looks great , do like the whole piece but stand out for me are tge fieshtones and the Goggle's

Nice texture work on the uniform colour ...is that stippling to achieve the effect

Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our FOTM comp and also vote in previous months classes as well as voting in Vignette & Diorama comp #2

Well you put them out quickly aswell . I think there is 15-20 hours work in this one. I had some time of so it went quick.

The texture is stippling indeed. First a rough scetch with a bigger brush (which can be thrown away afterwards) then the highlights in a controlled manner.

I wasn’t sure of the glass in the goggles but on the photos it works good.

Thanks Phil. I wasn’t sure at first because some really nice pieces looks good when over-glamorous but in the end I like this “normal” face more.
