Fresh off the work bench, I give you the latest release from Life miniatures, a bust of Paul Von Hindenburg: WWI general and hero of Tannenberg in 1914, and last president of the Weimar Republic who appointed Hitler to the position of Chancellor in 1933.

What an outstanding bust, this has to be one of the best sculpts I've ever had the pleasure to smear with paint. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone with even a passing interest in this period of history.

Please feel free to stop by with criticisms and/or comments

That is a beautiful piece of painting glen,I can't really add anything else, brilliant piece of work mate

I'm painting this bust at the moment Glenn and i hope mine turns out as good as yours.I'm struggling a bit at the moment, as i've been painting everything but the face so far.Something i've never done before.Brilliant paint job mate and your right in saying it's a cracker of a bust,as IMO,the best sculpted bust i've had the pleasure to have.

Thanks to one and all, I am very glad you all like this effort. This will be the last one for a while, as I will be bound to a shovel and wheelbarrow to do some landscaping for the next few weeks.
