Delighted to see this........A goodness knows how many times great-uncle of mine was a lighthouse
keeper at Orford Ness n the 1860's. I don't know what he actually looked like, but he might well have
been similar to this chap. I seem to remember that lighthouse keepers were members of the Ancient
Brethren of Trinity House, an organisation going back to the reign of Henry VII....
