I like this.

My first reaction was that the stag's head/neck is out of proportion (oversized) compared with the rest of the animal. But if it's intended to be some kind of mythical beast, I can defer to artistic license.

I agree, the head also has a very canine appearance. But if it's supposed to be some form of mythical beast like a gryphon, I guess it's okay.

I had the privilege of seeing this work in detail at Scale Model Challenge and of meeting Lukas Zaba.

Lukas is an absolutely fantastic young talent that we should be encouraging into our hobby. His work attracts a new, younger audience and that is very much welcomed. This piece of work is absolutely stunning, you have to bear in mind that its a fantasy figure and judge it based on that. Not only is the sculpting first class, the painting and groundwork is sublime.

When I saw the full range I thought it was absolutely jaw-dropping in terms of quality, it really is outstanding work.

Let's congratulate young talent and encourage new people into our hobby and applaud their talent.

hes And excellent talent..critique isn’t critics, but a chance to get things better...I like the subject and might have bought, but for what seems an inconsistency. If it’s only a matter of attracting likes, then where comes improvement? He’s an extraordinary talent and entirely to be encouraged

The face on the stag has a touch of Disney to it, you almost expect it to speak, however this sculptor has great talent and skill and knows what he is doing, fantasy inst my subject although I think some of the releases and paint jobs are mind blowing, personally what I see here is a sinister looking warrior who would take your head off, riding a lovable big furry beast and I have no doubt it will be a big hit with the Fantasy squad.
