www.gluetrain.de

Thanks.
This is a very nice kit. Not a normal thing.

....Well, though I see no figure, it is well painted - I like that glass eye and false teeth! Also it would be very interesting to hear how you paint a green glass bottle, that's a technique we could use fe. for a figure drinking French wine.

... Just joking:  ... you built a new concept there on the shattered ruins of my beliefs and paradigma's! ;)

Nice, Alex; you always come up with original stuff from which we can learn new approaches to our hobby. Although some of your work is not up my alley, you sure are an added value to this "modelling club" (y)

Hi Stephan,

Thanks for the heads up on the gluetrain site. I would like to post my pictures on this site, but wasn't sure how to.

Please let me know how to go about posting a picture. I can also email you some pictures and you can post them for me. However, I prefer to learn the how to since I am very interested in SCI FI and Horror.

I will be posting, probably in April, the how to for The Hyde Project.

Regards,

Alex

Pete could we drop this crap please, its a waste of your time for doing and our time for reading em when they are not constructive posts.

On the topic of eyes .... outside of the small world of our hobby, there are companies who make formidable glass eyes for taxidermists and bird/decoy carvers. I'm sure you can confirm that, Guy? A company in the USA called Tohickon makes really all kinds of eyes, for mammals, birds, fish, etc. and also human eyes I believe; now, I'm not sure but it is possible they do them to scale, fe. 1/6, too..... Honestly, I wondered for a moment if Alex has used one of these here. Still, nothing wrong with that in case of this model (a make-up box)...

Anyway, Alex, if you haven't used the Tohickon eyes yet, better check them out; with all the large scale horror stuff you do they probably have got eyes that you could use in your models. The effect of museum quality glass eyes in large scale figures just has to be magnificent I would imagine...worth experimenting with.

Your ever constructive and positive,
Johan ;)

Oh, I see.

Dis, t'as pas une photo de cette figurine de Callisto? Si je me rappelle correctement c'est un role de Leick Hudson - belle femme

Yep, it's Hudson Leick.... you're a connoisseur, Quang!
Now THIS would be something Alex Castro could paint to perfection!
How about it Alex - a 1/6 Callisto?

;) Johan
