Hi all,
I would like to do a 120mm representation of my Great Great Uncle on Crete during the Galatas counter attack in 1941. According to W.B. Thomas in 'Dare to be free' he was armed with a Thompson sub machine gun. My research tells me it is likely a 1928 Thompson with drum magazine.

I know that there are plenty of late model Thompsons in kits and a few in accessories sets like from Verlinden. I'm not adverse to modifying one of these, but would prefer to get a commercial 1928 if possible. Does anyone know where I might find one?

Many thanks,
Andrew

Hi Andy! ... I think it may well be case of asking any sculptor on here if they could help!... or at least convert the later Thompson! there are a number of people that do conversions!

Regards,

Mark

Thanks for the reply Mark. I think I am going to give converting a later model a go, should probably try and develop my skill set!
