Hello all,

In one of those "regret something for a lifetime" moments, many years ago I tossed a kit that I was having some trouble with. Of course, since then, I've regretted it because it was actually a beautiful kit and I've been wanting to paint it ever since.

I've managed to find every other vintage kit I've ever wanted and through the current situation have even managed to start a few! But this elusive sucker has been really tough to find.

The kit in question was produced by "Le Hussard de Marais" sometime in the 80's. It is a 90mm Mounted kit of the Duc de Lauzun, kit number 90/12. I've included and image of it since it is so rare.

Any line on where to find one, would be most appreciated!
Thanks
Lou

Hello Lou,

I have one in my grey army which I bought from Chuck when it first came out in the eighties. It is rare and I am going to paint it one day.

Good luck to your search!

Cheers,
Felix

Might be worth it to have a look at the auction for Chuck's remaining inventory, Lou. That's precisely the kind of item that he'd have had in the store somewhere.

You got a link Brad?

@ Lou - Good luck in your search. And I think most of us in the hobby have been there (one of those "regret something for a lifetime" moments) (n) :D .

You might try "Les Drapeaux de France" shop in Paris , their stock of painted figures is vast, but they also sell military miniature kits of all types. I know this is a long shot, but they might be able to help . They don't have a website, but can be contacted by e-mail at '[email protected]'.
I'm sure I saw this figure (painted, and a huge price!) and others in the series when we visited two years ago.
Good luck with your search for your "Holy Grail"(y)

Alan

I know this thread is old, but I just joined the forums today. This post is how I found it because I have two Le Hussard de Marais Mounted kits of the Duc de Lauzun, kit number 90/12 brand new in the box. I actually have recently come into a massive collection, many of which have never been opened and just introduced my self in the welcome forum.

If you are still looking for one or two, feel free to reach out. Good luck!
