Thanks Keith, yes it wasnt very nice, had already packed 10 large boxes with figure kits and 2 boxes of painted figgies for Frank to pick up,as we were travelling together....but...came home from work,blackout...No idea why and woke up on the tiled kitchen floor with a broken hip.Gordon Mitchell was Kind enough to take my traders tables....And me....Oh well Kulmbach comes again in 2 Years.
Anyway now I have all these kits waiting for a new home lol.

Thanks all for the prompt answers ! Thanks Andrew ! This is why I love the PlanetFigure Forum ! I am crazy in love with this little viking...I have done exactly the same manouvre in my viking Reenactment days see !! Jumping with a bredyxa from the prow of our 17 meter viking ship we built in Gothenburg in the early 1990:ies . So this figure brings back sweet memories of a more agile body. Steve: It is easier to jump from a prow WITHOUT the dragon head for sure ! Pete: Sad to hear about your hip. Wish you a speedy recovery and YES ..I really would like to buy this little guy for 30 Euros and he will find a new home in his proper homeland..the region of Viken in Sweden ! Can you PM me with the details ? Thanks a lot ! Stefan

As I wrote above..I have done this in real life. On a real viking ship replica. It is 100 percent plausable. But you cannot stand there, you have to climp and jump in one movement. And be young and agile. The only "wrong" in this figure is the shape of the axehead as broadaxes were more useful for warfare and bearded axes as tools and the position of the upper hand as you do not get any wielding power. Both hands should be positioned close to each other in the lower end of the shaft to have optimal wielding power. Talking from 30 years of viking reenactement battle experience. In fact to be able to jump down in another longship this is the only position as the curved sides of the prow are positioned 1,5 meters from the hull of the other ship and you cannot not stand on the sloping narrow portion. When you arrive to an island this is also the position where you jump from with the rope. The dragonheads where detachable and not allowed to use in your home waters as they could frighten the "alver" and "tomtar" ..the protection entities of the farms.
