Hi guys, does anyone know an old English company named Lancer miniatures that produced a 54mm diorama based on the famous ''Roll Call' painting from Crimea?I'm looking for these figures if anyone can help me.Thanks in advance, Chris.

Thanks for the info Brian but i'm not sure are the same figures ( i haven't see the original figures live)according to a photo of an old diorama by Maurizio Berselli who used the figures .I don't know if Maurizio use them as a base and resculpted them.Cheers, Chris.

Hi Chris,

They are the figures that Maurizio used, he did resculpt them. They were available as castings when Lancer produced them. I have the A.C.W. figures that were produced by Lancer, I don't know if you can get them as castings from Alexanders, you can always e-mail them. The building of the diorama is featured in Vol 32 issue 1 of Military Modelling (Jan-Feb 2002).

Regards

Brian
