Hi Folks,
On 28 June I visited El Greco Miniatures’ new shop. It was like going back in time to be once more in a shop full of figures, paints, brushes etc, etc. Luckily, I did go with a reasonable list of ‘wants’, or I might have dug much deeper into my wallet. Needless to say, I’ll be returning sooner rather than later. Living in Plymouth has its advantage.
You can see some views inside the shop on their website:-

One of my acquisitions was the Fan Art ‘Lord Commander’ (scale 1/9), which is clearly the James Cosmo character Jeor Mormont from Game of Thrones.
While the torso does not have the expected suit of plates (presumably for copyright reasons), the head is clearly that of James Cosmo.
I have painted him with his familiar white hair rather than the box art dark hair.
Painting is my usual oils over enamels.
Hope you like it.
Cheers,
Andrew
