Hi guys,

Just finished this 54mm classic from Pegaso. It's probably my favorite of all their knights. This kit is roughly 20 years old, but stands up well to anything being produced today. I've had my copy forever - been waiting until I felt I could give it the paint job it deserves. I used primarily acrylics. The plate armor is Humbrol Polished Steel, buffed to a shine. Thanks for looking!

Jason

Crackin' bit of brushwork J - I often wondered what the old Humbrol metalcoat paints would look like (Fabulous is the answer);)
Like Francesco said the tones are beautifully handled, especially the yellows (Since I've got a knight who also has a yellow background to his coat of arms may I ask what the basic colour you used was?)
Cheers

Lovely job Jason. I remember painting this kit about a decade and a half ago and your right it still holds it own today. Great job.

I have this figure in my collection painted when it came out, by Pat Vess, Chairman of the MMSI Show, back when he still painted figures. After seeing your work in person last month, it has continued to improve even at the highest levels. I was going to paint this figure but Nevers got around to it.

Thanks Paul! The yellow was a mix of Flat Yellow and German Yellow, toned down with German Camo Black Brown and German Camo Medium Brown. All Vallejo.

Thanks Bob! That means a lot to me. I push myself to constantly improve. I guess everyone eventually reaches a plateau, but hopefully mine is a long way off.
