LtCol Harold K. Bauer

Attached is my latest work. It is a figure of LtCol Harold K. Bauer, USMC, who was the Commander of VMF 212 on Guadacanal, 1942. Attached is a photo that was taken during 1942. The photo is based upon LtCol Bauer describing a dogfight in which he downed an enemy plane. He has just gotten out of his plane, an F-4 Wildcat, and is still in his flying gear. The figure is an old Series 77, 90mm. It is painted in oils, enamels, and acrylics.

Thanks for kind words. A lot of the Series 77 figures can stand up to todays standards just as they did in the early 80s.
