Thanks for sharing the link to the gallery, it is great to see such a high standard and number of entries in a regional show...where does Lyon rank in the size order of shows in France. For example how does it compare with Sevres?

I think that Sevres is little bit more important.
They have had about 1000 pieces in competition last november. For Lyon it was 876 pieces. But in Lyon there were lot of italians masters.
In France the most important competitions are Sevres, Montrouge and Lyon.

Thanks for that information, I had considered going to Sevres but had no idea that the other events are on the same scale. It is good to know for the future, is Lyon always in early february?

@ Tecumsea: There are some traders in Lyon, but there are more in Sèvres.
Lyon is allways in February.
