Will someone please explain to me...and no doubt many others...how courier drivers get away with telling blatant lies....saying they tried to deliver and left a card...both of which...as in this case...is invariably...total B******S!
What's even more frustrating is that you have absolutely no way of contacting anyone to remedy the situation in cases like this
One things for sure...when they ask for my feedback................:blackeye:

Ron,
Is there no supervisers you can contact at the courier warehouse?

Over here in the states we have people who follow the drivers and as they deliver the packages they steal the packages after the driver leaves. :arghh: But with the now security camera's and the "ring" doorbell the customers now have photo images for the cops to use to track the individuals.:) The news people also put it on the news programs and the cops put it on social media. Xmas is coming and it will get worse.
Cheers
John

Doesn't work like that over here John.
All you have are automated phone lines that just take you round in circles....designed purely to frustrate you....no option to actually speak with a human being.
This particular company (DPD) are renowned for this kind of behaviour....the driver just reports he tried to deliver and left a card with a number....a blatant lie...and what makes it worse is that I was working in the front garden at the time he reported he tried to deliver my parcel !
Had this before...the driver took a picture of somebody else's street door (black) as proof he tried to deliver....when I sent them a picture of my street door which is white...no reply.
It makes me very angry that the driver is free to lie...when actually he is just too lazy to do his job....knowing there is no comeback on him.

Best

Ron

Well Ron
Even the postie pulls tricks like this in rural areas, but he leaves a card to say there was no one home .
Idea being he does't have to carry too many parcels .

A little different , but have you ever tried to contact the inland revenue these days via phone " feckin impossible "

" Something happened ; we learned to talk "

I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's only one company to trust (not to be confused with a well known company with a similar name ;))

It would be better if Military Modeller was replaced by Collector of Vintage Pornography to save any embarrassment.

That reminds me of the old Scale Modeler magazine, which was published by an outfit called Challenge Publications. Challenge Publications was a legitimate part of a larger publishing group that printed adult magazines.

Prost!
