The Model Cellar is very pleased to announce this absolutely AMAZING three figure set of two WWI British Infantry with a Wounded German. Sculpted by Mike Good, each figure has all the clean crisp detail as expected from Mike. Each figure is amazing by itself. But, together they create a stunning vignette of the well known photograph shown below. Maurizio Fenucci painted the box art and created the vignette and groundwork. He did a fantastic job. ...and he took the photos too!!

We will have a limited number of pre-production castings/kits available at MFCA this weekend. After MFCA we will work on getting all our preview pieces in full production and onto our website as soon as possible.

I have a hunch that this vignette will be soon a classic... as the Valley Forge Militia vignette...
Outstanding... it is so much behind that simple gesture...
Top class...
Cheers Paul!

P.S. See you Friday.

I purchased this little gem and another from model cellar at the MFCA show. They are beautiful kits and I highly recommend them. Great casts, appears to be minor cleanup. Great jog!

The photograph is of the Leicestershire Regiment ('The Tigers') taken during the Battle of Bazentin Ridge 14 July, 1916. It can be found on page 129 of the Battleground Europe series 'Bazentin Ridge'. I knew that I recognized the photo and checked my references. This action has a particular significance to me since I have the 1915 Star trio to Pvt. Herbert Ingram who was killed in this battle. I also walked this battlefield area some years ago. It is always very moving to visit the Western Front.
