Found these today over at The Red Lancers. M32110 is a GERMAN KNIGHT, LAKE PEIPUS, 1242. M32111 is a MUSKETEER, 17TH CENTURY. M32112 is a POLISH HUSSAR, 13TH, RUSSIAN BORDER, 1812. All figures are 54mm and are made of resin.

Jim,
Thanks. But i think they are a little longer on the market. The German Knight at Lake Peipus was available at Euro. Unfortunaly i bought it, i couldn't resist it.
They are indeed from resin, but when i openend the box, it was all on the moulds. So cleaning up, and taken the parts of the mouldbloks would be very difficult in my opinion. Any suggestion is welcome
I'll soon starting the figure. But it is gonna be a long process.

Yeah Marc, I just saw them. Figured they had been out for about a month but we haven't seen much from M Models here at pF in awhile.....so I put them up. About the plugs, yes they can be a bit of a pain but the detail, in my opinion, makes it worthwhile. They are some really well sculpted and detailed figures. Unfourtanetly their casting isn't on the same level. Not horrible mind you, just not up to par with the rest of the figure. For the cost of the figure, you really do get a lot of bang for your buck. Their knights are something that must be seen.

I agree with Marc, I also bought the mounted german knight, just couldnt resist!

The sculpting is very good, the left arm is very awkward and probably needs to be resculpted as well as the horses mouth as it has the human teeth syndrom 99% of the horses on the market have.

As far as the casting, the casting is great, but the sprues really are awkward, reminds me a lot of Verlinden where every single piece which could possibly be a seperate piece is. With some work it can be made into a super figure and like Jim said, for the price they are superb.

The first time I got in touch with M models was in Roma World Expo and these guys have issued till know a nice selection at very affordable prices ... and still are! What I had bouth an Ottoman horsemen had the same issues, they look like aold verlinden casting with exagerated blocks ... what I did I used a modelling saw and my dremel tool to get rid off the blocks ... remember to use a mask as resin makes a dangerous cloud dust ... by the way the horse wasn't really happy about so I cahnged many body parts ... but I am noticing sculpting is improving though the human teeth are still there

I recommend them for somthing cheap and atractive for a conversion ...

They look like nice figures and resin cleans up easier in most cases than metal IMHO. I'm a little puzzled why some companies use such huge mold plugs. Is the reason because the company contracts out of house for casting?~Gary

I like the musketeer. I have been looking for one like that for a while.

He seems like his aiming is a bit off though. I wonder if that can be corrected?

Thanks Paul for the reminder about Beneito. I am working on a couple of their ACW figgies.
I'll check out EMI too.
