The East Coast Figure Artists Club will meet on 1/31 at The Hobby Bunker in Malden, MA. From 1 to 3pm we will host a demo on molding/casting techniques and materials used in reproducing miniatures. Reps from the NY based Compleat Sculptor Co. will also demo sculpting clays/waxes,tools and offer their line of sculpting /casting tutorials on DVD from the Hollywood special effects vets.
Our reg. meeting will run from 3 to 5pm. I hope that you will stop by, bring one of your works-in-progress, an unbuilt model for us to admire, reference materials/tools that might be helpful to others etc.
Yes, it's cold outside but you will be glad you made the effort to connect with this group of enthusiastic painters, scratch builders and figure nuts! We build everything from Historical Figures and Garage kits, Military Dioramas to Dinosaurs in miniature. Please tell others about us.
