I know that it's definately not military related but Amazing Figure Modeler from the USA is one of the best magazines to be in circulation. Great tips for everyone.

There's also Kitbuilders Magazine, which is similar to AFM. I seem to recall some Anime/Manga oriented figure mags out there as well. I remember seeing some (all in Japanese, maybe some Korean) in west coast (USA) hobby shops years ago. A/M hasn't gotten any less popular, so I don't see any reason why they wouldn't still be around.

There is a magazine in German called "Modell Fan"

It covers the full range of scale modelling (cars, AFV, planes......). There are always at least two pages dedicated to figure reviews and from time to time there even is an article about figure painting / modelling.

It's better than nothing.

Had a figure club meeting yesterday and someone had a copy of Modeler's Resource Magazine. Like Kitbuilders and Amazing Figure Modeler, it seems devoted mainly to larger scale monster, horror, and sci-fi subjects.

Now that I think of it, aren't there are also a few mags devoted to gaming which have articles addressing figure painting and conversions?

Cheers,

Glen
