Major "Blondie" Hasler.
1/9 scale RP Models.
Painted in acrylics.
Base is scratch build with Vallejo water texture.

Some light and dark photo's are taken.
I painted the whole figure a bit darker then I normally would do, for Operation Frankton was a night mission.
The paddle was a bit warped, but I didn't managed to get it straight (hair dryer, hot water) so I decided to leave it as it is now, and see it as "well used".
The water was a real nightmare for I never made it before.
But happy with the result.

I'm glad you like it, took spme sweat and tears this one... lol
Hoping Hugo likes it too, as a matter of fact, he has the chance of seeing this piece for real as I'm taking it with me to Scale Model Challenge this year. And I will be painting life at the traders section on a table almost next to him... lol

Thank you very much Steve.
I'm not 100% sure for I've mixed my own colours for this one, but as I can remember it was Vallejo dark yellow 116 mixed with Vallejo US field drab 142.
The camouflage is in Vallejo model air cam. Black brown 042.
Highlights was done with buff added to the base colour.

His hat and hand shoes were painted in a mix of scale75 huldra blue, rlyeh grey and joryldin turquoise
