Freed for lack of evidence in August 1816, it was put under house arrest and was promoted to Brigadier General place in non-activity before the final dismissal of the September 10, 1821.

The figurine is the result of a small change of a piece Metal Modeles. I just remade with putty a part of the vest (below the belt) and epaulettes. Finally I changed the arms and the head .. I only used acrylic paints.
Greetings to all!

This is really charming, not just a nice figure well painted but a tribute to a real Napoleonic veteran.

For me this is the motivation to model historical figures, we can make the memorials few of these men ever had, and in this way, they are no longer forgotten.

Well done.

Paul.
