Hi Guys

Some of you may know that I am an avid fan of the 17th century as a period of great painters and subjects to follow in our wonderful hobby, I have decided to follow a picture from a book I bought in Girona about the french armies of the 30 years war, its a painting called “Man with a Sword” By Meissonier. here is the progress so far and yes I want it finished for Euro

Coming along nicely Dave, you've got a lot of delicate bows to make! He could be Cyrano de Bergerac (je touche...)?
Cheers,
Jon.

Hi dave this would be a great figure as usual , 65 mm as jmd scale isn't it
I can't wait to see it, see you at Euromilitaire.
Best
Laurent

Really nice figure! If you paint it, remember to do the colours more pale, especially the red. i think its very important for the atmosphere of the picture!

OK guys

2 weeks to go ad here is the latest update, I think I am still on course, so hope to start painting the figure on Thursday Friday, so there is clean up, collar, hair, buttons, buckles and bows to sort out and the position of one of the feet I may also resculpt the right leg of the trouser.
