Who painted this Empress ...you have seen her work before its the painter who is herself like royalty with the brush ......it is of course :
Suzanne Piedavent Zahajko
Suzanne is ofcourse well known in the flat painting circles of our wonderful hobby(have a look at Kulbach and I am sure you will see her work) and now has done this bust for UP.
What a great job she has made of the fleshwork in particular, capturing Maria Theresa at this time in her reign as queen , great work on the dress as well as the hair totally in keeping with the portraits ...... she looks every mm an Empress that she was ...determined and strong .
Good effects on the base as well bringing out all the details .
