French Marshal Duc de Dalmatie 1769-1851
This is a historical miniature of Nicolas Jean-de-Dieu Soult 54 mm high, scale 1/32. Soult was a French general and statesman, named Marshal of the Empire in 1804. He was one of only six officers in French history to receive the distinction of Marshal General of France. He also served as Prime Minister of France three times.
Weight: 63g
What do you think of our figure? :)

I like the figure very much.
I believe in my humble opinion that the paint job lacks a little bit of "outlining" just to accentuate the great features of this figure.
As with the other figures you produce i like the quality and poses of the figures ,and the fact that you post some history about the figure makes it more attractive.
Keep them coming.
Best regards

Sorry but i don't agree with you.
Del prado is a little "toyish" compare to these figures, i think a more decent paint job will really bring the good features of this figure.

Yes dear Marquis
but my reaction is based on the fact that the price at which they are sold, in kit form, induce normaly a real high end product
When somebody produce a piece that is existing in other makers production, you have tendency to make comparison... and the price enter also into account ( I agree that Del Prado is of lower quality but the price is only arround 10€ painted )
Seen as a KIT ( unpainted ) :
Soult has been portrayed by many makers like Le Cimier 20 years ago ( Obsolete ) and by Métal Modèles still available at far lower price and who are real piece of work ( to my eyes ) . http://www.metal-modeles.com/images/stories/virtuemart/product/mjds1.jpg
seen as a Kit what I see here is just standard basic quality compared to the standard level of actual makers
As a Toy Soldier ( painted ) I see Artig as a very good quality product
Best

I understand what you are saying, i just didn't agree in the way you've posted earlier .
I am glad you explain your reason for the price and the quality and that is what Artig is looking for, your feedback and " sorry, look a lot like a Del Prado" it looked more like a discourage to buy this product ,at least i took it that way and if i am the producer i will be a little bit ofended.
Anyhow, thanks for your last post ,w e all have a different point of view and i think this will have a positive feedback for the manufacturer.
Regards
