Hi all,

Finally I have finished a figure, my first since Euro last year! Again an Alpin figure (yes it's official now I'm addicted) with an Hornet head; scale 1/35 and moulded in resin. The fence is by Nemrod, the wheel comes from a Tamiya Steyer 1500,the grass and snow are both from Joefix. All this was placed on a sockel by Oakwood Studios. Again I used acrylics, inks and pigments to splash some colour on it.

I would love to hear what you think of it?

Cheers,

Gino

Alpine Figure

VERY nice painting and the sheepskin jacket looks tremendous.

The whole piece is very well presented - fabulous!

Gino,

Really nice figure, congratulations!
Max Wunsche has always been one of my favourites among W-SS personalities, early member of the Leibstandarte, victor of Kharkov along with Meyer, Peiper & Witt, & commander of SS-Pz.Regt.12 in Normandy, not forgetting ADC to Adolf Hitler with whom he was photographed on several occasions. A true large-scale figure of Wunsche would be welcome, don't think the Warriors one did him justice.

Gino, superb painting all round, from the face, clothing and groundwork, very difficult to pick out a favourite.(y)

Thanks!!!

Hi guys,

Thank you VERY MUCH for the nice comments. As I can't get out a lot, and thus have little contact with other human beings/modellers, these comment do mean the world to me!

Hi Marc,

I missed you alot at the clubevenings to.
So i hope it's going better with you.

I miss the clubevenings and you too. I was at the last clubmeeting, but unfortunately you weren't there.

As what my health concerns : it's a surprise for me everyday I wake up on how it will be. An even then it can change dramaticly during the day. I'll try to go to Moveleo this sunday, maybe I'll see you there?

Hi Chris,

A true large-scale figure of Wunsche would be welcome, don't think the Warriors one did him justice.

Let's hope Taesung reads this and ecide to release one, as I too woul like to seen a 120mm figure of him.

Once again a big thank you to all of you!

Cheers,

Gino.
