I won't apologise for pointing out that your post was offensive and aimed at another forum and its members. My comments about PF have been proven by some very prominent defections in recent months, possibly to the very forum that you have been so quick to Badmouth.........who can blame them.

Losing your temper is a relative term.......so you were in a bad enough mood to place the original post and then in a worse mood trying to justify it.

I'm sure you are probably a very nice guy....glad to see that you are succeeding with the anger management.

Gaudin, .. Perhaps my original posts where slightly inappropriate. As I was speaking in the vernacular. So therefore, the withdrawal of the comments seemed to be the appropriate thing to do, in order to diffuse any further tensions.

Is it enough?? .. I do not know. Although as said, its better to let such things fade away.

That's the problem with the written word sometimes, much easier to misconstrue and not to get the "tone" that was intended (humourous, friendly ribbing or whatever) than it would be face to face or over a beer. I've been guilty of that myself on here in the past - and been on the receiving end of it. I didn't see Mark's original comment, but glad to see you guys have shaken (virtual) hands.

Actually,...while we're on the subject of forum altercations, I've been thinking lately how much more civil and polite everyone's intercourse has been lately.......possibly the most cordial and sociable period on the forum for a while.
