Greetings everyone. I would like to announce that this years show will be a Saturday & Sunday event! There will be an open house at Michigan Toy Soldier Friday the 23rd, not far from the venue.

It's a great time for everyone. Kid friendly with plenty of toy soldiers to paint (I'm sure you'll even catch one of the club members painting one;)) and take home free! There will be in attendance several toy soldier vendors from all over the country. The dealers of historical collectables gets bigger and bigger every year. Not to mention the hundreds of rare and OOP books from 4th Street Books. Easy access from I-75 with hotels and restaurants close by.

The figure side of the show is pretty layed back. There's plenty of room for display with lots of chances to talk shop with like minded folks.

**Calling all you upper Mid-Westerners.** There's no excuse (well, other than bad weather) not to make this show. It's a month away and Wendy or myself will bump this thread to remind folks. This includes NW Pennsylvania. Erie, to be exact;)

Hey, General Custer will be there too!

Jason, I really will make the trip sometime. I especially like that it's a two day show. Hey didn't you say something about reenactors get in free if they wear their stuff? :) ~Gary

You beat me to posting Jason! :)

Yes, reenactors get in free if they wear their stuff. (It may not say it on the site, but that's how it's always been. I'll confirm it with the guys though.) There's a pretty good variety from a Crusader to modern that come.

Gary,

It's the perfect chance to break in that new knapsack! When you decide to make the trip I'll bust out the Zouave uniform. We'll both be pimpin'!

Sorry Wendy. You do enough behind the scenes work. This will be my tiny contribution.

Re-enactors wearing their stuff get into the show free for sure.

I forgot to mention it, but I put the show on the PF calender as well. It's only $5 to enter as many figures as you want into the competition part. All subject matter is eligible including fantasy, historical, and includes armor and stuff like that. At the entrance to the show, those who are entering figures should mention it, as I think those displaying anything don't have to pay the show entry fee of $6. (Worth a try anyway. :D)

Also, Saturday evening the club is planning an informal dinner out at a local restaurant, location TBA.

Not just calling upper Mid-westerners...come on over Canadians! :)

Just bumping the topic as a reminder.

I know I'll be there and Jason too. Anyone else from PF going to make it?

hey Jason, if you pay the ticket for the airplane, i'll buy you the hotdog (or better ... i bring you a "camembert" :D:eek:)

PS:
your work on your blog is very excellent

Seb.

Another bump.

Come on guys and gals! I have a deal. Any first-timer to this show that visits pF, I will buy you a hotdog!:)

Jason

The gauntlet has been thrown down!

Now, how do I get five bus loads of people (get them to visit Pf first) to the show? :)

~Gary
