Greetings.
It gives me great pleasure to announce the latest release of Mick’s Mick’s Miniatures.

Kettle Drummer 4th ( Royal Irish ) Dragoon Guards 1884​

This is a 1/9th Scale Full Bust Sculpted by Pavol Ovecka. The bust will be supplied with two left arms to allow for a different pose ie Saluting or Playing. A pair of Kettle Drums will also be available.

This bust concludes phase 1. Being the four Regular Cavalry Regiments the others having already been released.

Officer 8th ( Royal Irish ) Hussars 1891​

The Price of this Bust is as Follows.:-
£39.00 + Post & Packaging. For the Bust & Optional arm.
£49.00 + Post & Packaging .For the Bust & Pair of Kettle Drums with Banners.
£15.00 + Post & Packaging .For the Pair of Kettle Drums with Banners only.

Postage & Packing will be £4.50 1st Class Signed for in the UK. and £8.50 Tracked & signed for, for the rest of the world.

I am looking to be in a position to post these out during the 2nd Week in March, as I do not return to the UK until 1st March.

Super looking bust. Painting the banners will be a definite challenge for my freehand painting skills which I might add are marginal at best.

Well if you hadn't planted the seed about the Drums you wouldn't have to paint the banners. So its your own fault

Glad you like it chaps, I was talked into leaving the Banners blank by Offo, to give you more of a choice re era and possible Regiment if you wish to convert.

I have just been approached by a very fine chap about supplying Decals for the Drum Banner. There is obviously a lot of scope for this as we have three types for the 4th DGs alone. Plus other Cavalry Regiments and Yeomanry etc.

What do you think. Would you use a decal or prefer to paint it free hand,

Re Decals for the Drum Banners.​

I have decided to run with the idea to produce a set of Decals for the Drum Banners. The decals will be that of the 4th R I Dragoon Guards applicable to the date of the Bust​

ie 1884. Namely The Star of St Patrick on a Red Field.​

​

These will be an optional extra and therefor purchased separately. As I know most will want to go free hand .​

I will advise prices etc shortly.​
