Hi all,
Having invested in a complete set of mig productions pigment powders, I've discovered they wont do what I want them to....my fault, not theirs!
Can anyone tell me before I waste a load more money if the pigments can be used to 'tint' the oil colours produced by the same company?
cheers, Steve

Colour a horse!
I had seen some examples of large scale horses coloured with dry pigments, obviously not the same pigments that mig supply, I couldn't get the powders to give a consistent coverage on the white primer. going back to the tried and tested oil paints seems the easy answer, but as the powders have some lovely 'horsey' colours I wandered if I could combine the two....bit complicated I know!

Why not just buy one tube of Mig paint and experiment? If it doesn't work you can always use it for something else. Or experiment using the oil paint you have? If it doesn't work just strip it and re-do.

Just had a look at the Mig forum using that link. There looks to be a lot of tumbleweed blowing about the place.
