Simple projects can be the most fun,
especially when a single feature, like leather, defines the final look.

Here’s Geoff, named in honour of legendary pilot & designer Geoffrey De Havilland.
He’s been adapted to fit with a DieselPunk Mosquito racer. More to come...

Sculptor - Mike Good (from 2x Model Cellar figures)
Scales - 1:32 resin (Pea is 1:1) :)
Medium: Acrylics & Oils

Thoughts?

Wow, lovely to see you back at the bench and posting here Mike. Another fabulous figure, that leather looks so realistic. And it must have taken ages.....

Diesel punk mosquito racer.....? Intriguing......

Beautiful work as always Mike, I've enjoyed watching this come together on patreon. I shared the image with the pea with a friend who asked if it was an apple!

The leather is lovely, makes me want to try something similar soon.

Thank you Nigel, yep took a bit of time and was more about challenge of trying to reproduce earlier leather experiments on a bust, in a small scale.

Cracking, no pun intended, leather work, very realistic.
Cheers Simon
Well done!
Cheers back at you Simon, appreciate kind comments from you & Ned too.
Nice one Mike! (y)(y)(y)
Thanks heaps Mike, glad you like him mate. Always enjoy painting your sculpts & this was fun to put together a couple of your chaps.
Will look forward to doing some more next year.
For a second I thought the topic was 'Geoff, slaughter of enemy peas....'
