Hello again Figureteers!

Due to my recent post about Stan Catchpole Ive also found many old magazines, namely the Us magazine "Military Modeller". I remember as a teenager how I liked that magazine and the builds in it. The quality of the models in display varied but there were many that I still remember.

Like the late Brumbär from Achen and the many Science Fiction kits.

Anyone else here old enough to remember or is it just me coming out of the "ol geezer"-closet? :)

Cheers

I wondered who that was in the closet with me............I have a well worn book that featured many of the Stan Catchpole articles and still refer to them occasionally. Some of my older Military Modeling mags date back to the early 70's and I keep saying I am going to thin them out........but never do.

I also have a nostalgia for MM.I ended up buying all back issues of military Modelling from ebay 1st issue January 1971.
BTW Stan catchpole actually was Brian Fosten who also illustrated many British Uniforms.

How about the late 1973 oil crsis issues that were in black and white..no oil--no color

Walt Damon.........who still has some of the earlier ones in the smaller size

Im not sure, but I think theres some confusion here, which is very well understandable due to the similar names.

Us Magazine
Military Modeller
Extinct since ?

Uk Magazine
Military Modelling
Still alive and kicking

Cheers
