Military Uniform Scrapbook Collection.

Contains all of the uniform illustrations by Major A.C. Lovett originally published in “ The Armies of India”. These consist of the color postcards published by the National Army Museum plus color photos of the color plate illustrations that the NAM did not publish. A total of 71color illustrations.

Four 6 ½”x 4 ½”. B/W photographs from the National Army Museum Archives, showing members of the Khyber Rifles prior to WW1.

Six 8 ¼” X 6 ½” B/W photographs from the National Army Museum Archives showing officers and other ranks of various Indian Army regiments on campaign during the 2nd Afghan War in 1879. These photographs were taken by the official photographer with the Army.

Three B/W postcards from the National Army Museum showing Indian Mountain Artillery and machine gun units on the NW Frontier of India.
