My latest figure, a Militiaman at the Battle of Trenton 1776.
75mm TFB Miniatures.
Sculpted by John Rosengrant.
The colours were heavily influenced by a Don Troiani colour plate, and I found a great backstory about hunting rifles during the AWI.
I figured that despite being cold and battered in a cold December, he would keep his rifle in top condition.
I pushed the highlights at the upper front to draw attention there, heavily influenced by the fantasy painting of Robert Karlsson.
The kit came with a horrible stiff thick wire to use for the powder horn cord. I replaced that with rolled out milliput and love how it came out.
