Milliput over different paints??

Hey , all -

I've blocked in a color scheme on a resin bust, and now I want to add a cloak out of Milliput. Will the Milliput stick ok to the painted surface, or do I need to strip the contact area, or even fix a light armature in place?

Any advice will be appreciated!!

I have found that Milliput sticks to almost anything but of course the bond is only as good as the bond between the paint and the bust. Assuming the cloak will be draped over the shoulders I think you will be fine.

Should be ok, but to be on the safe side you could scratch the paintjob down to the resin to add grip on the areas to be covered by Milliput. No need to temove the paint completely.
