“ Sad news about the popular Ukranian brand MiniArt. The company already fled to Kiev in 2014, during the annexation of Crimea by Russia, and it already looked like history would repeat itself for Miniart.
The inevitable happened and company owner Alina, her father Alex and their family fled to Poland a few days before the invasion of Russia.
At the moment they are very busy delivering aid to the Polish/Ukrainian border. They pick up refugees and provide shelter in Poland for them. In addition, they have arranged a warehouse and collect relief supplies.
The MiniArt factory has been abandoned and the situation is obviously very worrying.”

Miniart have some amazing AFV kits and I hope they are not lost to the hobby. Right now however, the safety of all those connected to the company is paramount.

I hope they are all safe and well and that the company are able to continue when better days arrive.

ICM has closed, others..but tying to offer reports from the fighting. Minimart, modelsvit, Amodel, Masterbox , armory…others and unlikely ever to return…irony- the kit offerings from many including Russian AFV, figure subjects

We all knew that this was going to come to our hobby and the pages of this and other forums, we have amazing artists, sculptors and suppliers throughout the world and although the subject of many of our kits can be military related in no way do they glorify any historical conflict, no one anywhere needed this tragic situation and I can only gasp in disbelief at the scenes of families, frightened and suffering in this day and age, I hope and pray that all these people will be okay, we will miss their input badly and who knows where we are going with this turmoil.
