Miniaturas Fortes Fallschirmjäger
This is one of the newest releases to come from the newly established Miniaturas Fortes. Sculpted and cast by Diego Fortes, it represents an early war Fallschirmjäger. The figure is 75mm in scale and cast in ten light grey resin parts; there is also a piece of lead foil included.
My kit arrived with the parts in a poly zip bag with a glossy photo and painting guide sheet. There are several painting options available with this type of uniform and there is plenty of reference material on the internet for this.
A close inspection of the parts in the photos below show a good level of detail and casting. Each part has a mould block to remove and a fine mould seam line to remove between the legs of the torso.
A close-up view of the front and back of the one piece torso for your inspection of detail and quality.
There are two head options included in the kit.
The MP40 will need careful removal from the mould blocks and spru with special attention to the gun barrel and smaller shoulder stock parts. The included lead foil can be cut and used to make the strap.
Close-up of the other smaller parts of the kit and the location of the arms, the left hand has the stick grenade as part of the casting.
Conclusion: A very fine release in terms of quality of detail and excellent casting. I am sure this will prove to be very popular with WWII enthusiasts and nice to see some WWII in 75mm, highly recommended.

The kit is a limited edition of 100 pieces so grab one while they are there.
