WIP Minisoldiers Soviet Officer Wwii

Hi Folks

This is another piece that has been on the bench for several months that I have just picked up again and aim to get finished soon. Its from the 1\32nd scale MiniSoldiers range of figures and is of a WWII Soviet officer.

Still a lot to do, shadows in the tunic to finish, pants, boots and machine gun to paint.

There is no insignia sculpted into the red banding of the hat and I am unsure what it should be so any help with this would be much appreciated.

All painted in Vallejo and Reaper acrylics, hope to post updates soon.

Hi Tommy nice figure and great work so far. Usually the soviet army wears red stars with hammer and sickle in the bands of their caps.
Surely is the same for your model. I don´t know which unit is, wearing blue cap.
The number 3, of the second plate, similar to your model is a Starshiy Mayor, GUGB State Security, Tallin 1941
