Minormous Models are a Swedish company specialisng in 3D sculpting. They have released STL files of a series of Roman figures and busts.

We have obtained a commercial licence to print and sell these models from Minormous. The figures are 75mm to the eyes. The busts have been printed in 1/12 scale. Most of the figures and busts come available with alternative head options as well as different weapons.

Printing is set at 0.03mm (30 microns) for the highest quality and definition.

Very nicely done. It's interesting that the only helmet not found in any archeological site is the Attic. It appears on many columns, sculptures &c. but no remains have ever appeared. i'm not sure that a legionary would be wielding a spear rather than a javelin but the pose is excellent.

Please see the thread started by me on the 24 May under the heading “Superb Romans” to see the conversations that followed.
Personally I still like them.

I don't like them but I can't put my finger on why. Perhaps they look too plasticy but there is something there that doesn't float my boat.
