hello Folks, here is what i am working on actually, a great 3/4 figure by Life Miniatures. She's a kind of Cyborg making me think of Ghost in the Shell (which is probably the inspiration of the sculpt)
It's a real pleasure to paint her as the possibilities are enormous in term of various technics : NMMs, skin tones, OSL possibly etc.
anyway : 'nough words here are the pictures :

don't hesitate to comment !

got a good afternoon of time to work on Mirai today, the eyes took me almost 3 hours to get to what i had in mind : eautiful, determined and cold ...
I also worked on the basic skin tones ... a challenge in this scale to get them smooth and nice ... which i'm far of at the moment for the body, the face is turning quite well but still need more smoothness to me

Great progress so far, I'm a Ghost in the Shell fan and it looks like you've dialed that in nicely.

You may try some brush on matte varnish to smooth out the skin where there are some visible brush strokes (it works wonders for me when working on something this size).

thanks for the words and for the tip i will use it ! but for the moment i'm still sketching the skin tones as i have many "lights" to play with. glazes will come later :)

work of the week-end : start for the lower part of the miniature, basically it's a n acrylic cylinder, worked it with a propane torch (IF you don't know how : don't try this inside, and wear protections, gloves and glasses are the minimum !)
here is where she stands after 2 days of work (she's not glued in place yet)

all feedback is welcomed
