mixing oils and enamels

I would like to try this and was wondering if it is very similar to painting with oils in terms of blending etc.

I've tried it and it works with certain colours but remember you'll have less time than working with oils but you can get some good results

Hi,

I agree with Brian.

I dont use mixing a lot. But I use it when I feel that the finishing oil mix will be gloss. So I put a very little of enamel in my oil mix. That helps for a matt finish.

I used to mix enamels into oils when I wanted to speed up the drying time. Never posed much of a problem.
