I have just finished this bust by Mitches Military Models. I did struggle to get stuck into this piece, but I think it turned out reasonably ok.

This is a big piece to complete. Mine is still not even half finished. I like what you have done with it and a nice touch with the base.

Thank you Gordon. I think because it was so big, thats what made me struggle to get stuck into it. I did enjoy painting it and it is a great sculpt of a great subject.

Nicely painted and presented.
I have just one comment. While you've painted the netting over the 'spades' on the sides of the helmet, the back view appears to show that the netting has been left white over the officer's bar.
Perhaps it's just the lighting playing tricks, but if not, it's a very simple correction.
