Just finished this sadly OOP figure. I was a good figure to do. I must say I found the balancing act of the helmet tricky though.
Here I revised my method of doing the greatcoat. I used Payne's Grey mixed with Jaune Brilliant (oils). It didn't give the sheen that tit. white gave. The elbow patch I added to break up the grey and I also added the rip in the coat. The chinscales are made from fine jewellery wire. 100_2926.JPG

BP, nice job you've done here. Like the work with the chinstrap/scales.(y)
Got one myself along with the Grenadier drummer boy from Stormtroopers (now oop)

Barrie.

Nice work on this one... You're right about the bearskin... had to practically stand on your head to get it hung. As for the rest, it was a nice fig to paint... great face. I did this guy around a year ago.
The little bits of weathering you've added gave this guy a touch of flavour for sure. Well done.

Overall, nice paintwork, good presentation.

Colin

Thanks guy, much apreciated. Yes the fit weren't great in places and the bearskin was a real pig. In fact I had to put it down for a good few days to wait until I was in the mood to do it, such was the job..Overall - a good figure.
