Available for Sevres and available from Gordon Mitchell
are two more 1/9th scale bodies to coninue Multiposing
Carl Reid's 1/9th Cuirassier Trumpeter in Imperial livery.

The idea is to order whatever trumpeter of cavalry
type you may want apart from hussars, or have a full collection of your favourite colourful musicians.

Cuirassiers
Dragoons
Carabiniers
Line lancers

(These heads are available as a seperate order item too).

You can already order the trumpeter with heads to suit in imperial livery.

Now you may order the same with Lancer plastron or with plain chest lace bars.

Here shown first as Carabiniers

and Line lancers

still to come.....Line lancers regts 7-9 in Czapska, and Line Chasseurs in Shako.

Please place your order or order enquiries by email direct
to Gordon please at his usual email adress......
after the weekend trip to Paris.

Cheers Paul.

Great to see what you have been busy working on Paul. So many options are sure to give plenty of longevity to the original bust. Looking forward to seeing the others.
Have you calculated how many different versions of this 'base' bust could be created if you painted all the regiments of all the types etc. ( bet you have!! )
Cheers
Mat

Thasaaaaaaaasands mate..
Mat it's this simple.
Except for Hussars, Eclaireur lanciers of the garde
Gendarmes d'ordnance and a couple of others...
Mamluks, Tarters, train d'Artillery.
you would be abke to represent everything else.
(There are others in the pipeline too).

Not sure I understand exactly. But I think there are a lot of trumpeter busts available and I probably want....all of them? Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's right. Tom

In 1812 Tom, the Bardin regulations decreed a whole new set of uniforms fir the French army.
Imperial livery was to be worn by all musicians and took the form of a green coat trimmed all over yellow lace carrying eagles and letter N's in green.
Because Carl Reid produced a Cuirassier in this form and Gordon asked for variations, we have worked together to produce other heads so that you have alternatives as above.
However some units, like the line lancers wore a different sort of coat with the lace.
So we are working to produce the other variations
as well as above.
Next year we will be producing other earlier period trumpeters too.
Soon, if you like any colourful trumpeter uniform you can make it.

Hi Paul
Love this idea mate ...lots of variation is a lovely idea and the sculpting you did looks rather good .
Are they being sold separately in sets by Gordon ?
Nice one and kerp sculpting ..and painting of course
Nap

Thanks Nap.

There are 4 bodies and 5 heads so you can pick which body and head you want.
so Cuirassier with 5 rows of chest lace tunic
Carabinier Imperial Livery and so on.

Many thanks for doing these Paul. I'm just back from the Sevres show in Paris which is well worth a visit especially for napoleonic fans. Over 1000 competition entries!
I hope to be casting some more of these over the next few days along with the dragoon version and will post on PF as soon as they are available. If anyone is interested please drop me a line on [email protected]
Cheers
