MMSI April meeting and travels to MFCA

Hi all -- The monthly meeting of the MMSI will not take place as usual on the first Friday of this month, but on the second: Friday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m., in the usual place, Oakton Community College. On tap: Mike Tapavica on the American Militia during the Revolutionary War. Don't miss it!

Also, if anyone from the Chicago club is planning to attend the Miniature Figure Collectors of America show at Valley Forge on May 18-19, please let me know at [email protected]. This year's show, always one of the best, will be even more special than usual as the MFCA reunites grand masters from the past and pays special tribute to our own Shep Paine.

Mike Tapavica, sculptor, artist and avid re-enactor, will present a program on the American Militia in the Revolutionary War. As always, bring any figures, books, prints, or militaria from that period to display, or any works in progress on your bench!
