As promised, here are pics of the 54mm Werner Voss figure with his "little brother".

Doing the same figure twice is interesting. The little inevitable differences really jump out at you. Plus, I deliberately chose to do them in two different styles: The 1/48 scale figure is "idealized", while the 1/32 scale figure is given more realistic proportions. On the smaller figure you can see how I made the body and limbs slimmer while the head is smaller (in proportion) and narrower. This makes for a more "elegant" figure. But I have my doubts about doing this on a portrait figure........

Thus, I tried to "keep it real" on the 54mm figure.

OK, Mike. Now you can show us your scale-reducing pantograph. ;)

Joking aside, I'm truly AMAZED! But then I don't expect anything less from you.

Cheers,

Quang

Thanks!!

It is really nice to get all of these great compliments!

Maurizio, Grazie!! From such a talent as you these compliments mean a lot.

Quang, I was thinking of marketing the pantograph, but then I accidentally dropped the prototype in the toilet! As so much in life, there went many hopeful dreams, straight down the crapper....... SIGH!

Stefano, Ciao!! Grazie! As with Maurizio, it is wonderful to be appreciated by a master!!! Molto bene!

Crap, now I need to grease up my ears to get my fat head through the doorway.....! Geezz!!

Cheers!!

Mike

I'm not really a fan of this genre/era but this may have converted me! This really is special and I'll try and get my hands on one.
Well done again Mike.

Perfectly!
Such simple pose - and actually such complex{difficult} seems!
It is possible to tell confidently - she{it} alive.
Yours faithfully.

Mike, Fantastic job on "big Voss" and "little Voss". I think the painted example leaves a little to be desired though.~Gary
