Model shops

I need some greatly appreciated help from you.

Is there a decent model shop in New York City, as I will going there for the weekend before valentines. I am also going to Florida in July/August so if there is any thing close to the Disney Land Resort... just in case I mite need a figure fix while on holiday... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Whenever I have traveled I have had a ritual of looking in the hotel room phone book after getting checked in and see if there is any local Hobby Shops..........in case I needed a fix. :lol:

Hi Dave, may be in New York you can pay a nice visit to Neal the owner of http://www.sentinelminiatures.com, he always have a special kit sale of some great kits.

Sadly I don't know anyone else in FL

I've been to the Orlando area a few times but I've never found a shop that sells figures other than wargame or toy soldiers.

As far as I know (and I live here) there aren't any figure shops in New York City. Sentinel is in Larchmont which is about 30 minutes north of NYC, but worth the trip.

No need to be sorry. I think it's pretty easy to get to from the city by train (I live in New Jersey so I just drive). It is worth the trip because Sentinel and Red Lancers are the two largest figure dealers in the US (there are others obviously, but they both carry everything). It's like going to Dover and Not trying to arrange a visit at Historex Agents.

Unfotunately there used to be some great hobby shops in the city and also "The Soldier Shop" but they're all sadly gone now.
